Beta #2 results came back. It took! My numbers more than doubled, nearly tripled!!!! So, we were left wondering, did both embryos take or just one? Now, we had to make it to week 5. The next 3 weeks would be the longest weeks EVER. We were told not to get too excited about the Beta results because we needed to hear the heartbeat first. Gah! Can't we get excited about anything?!!!?
...I also started noticing a blue roadmap of veins all over my chest. Every single day as I would get ready for work I would flash myself in the mirror, just staring at my chest. Not feeling any pregnancy symptoms, the amount and deepness of the blue veins seemed to be the only indicator that I was pregnant. I would pray every day that I would wake up and see the deep blue lines across my chest.
